Here's an early Hickok AC-47 tube tester with its original plug-in modules, its original instructions, and its original cloth-covered cabinet. The tester dates to the 1930's and was, I believe, Hickok's first AC tube tester, with an onboard DC power supply that utilizes an 80 rectifier tube (not included).
The cloth covering on the case is worn, as you can see in the pictures, and the cabinet hardware is oxidized, but the tester's condition otherwise is excellent. In fact, the main unit and all 3 plug-in modules are pristine, close to mint. The transformer powers up, but the apparatus has not otherwise been checked out, either with or without tubes. Almost 100 years old, the tester will almost certainly need to be serviced and calibrated if you wish to make it operational. Accordingly, it is being offered for historical purposes, with no other assurances stated or implied.
Pictures should speak for themselves.
With the lid closed, the case measures approximately 14" wide x 8"deep x 8" high. Everything fits inside the cabinet, including the 3 modules, which are housed below the tester. Shipping weight, properly packed, will be about 25 lb.
That's about it. I will package it properly so that it arrives at your doorstep safely. I have been shipping antique phonographs and radios for years, and if you check my feedback, you'll see that I know how to do it correctly. Auction participants with 0 feedback or private feedback should contact me before placing bid. Auction participants with a history of bid retractions will have their bids removed.
