    Description

Aolamegs Ammo Box Can Lock Hardware Kit .50 Cal, Fat 50,l 30 Cal, 20 mm, 40 mm
You get the lock hardware kit; you DO NOT GET the Ammo can and padlock
Close the lid and latch of the ammo can and mark the center of the hole where the locking hardware will be installed (try to be exact!)
Drill a 5/16”hole into the can at the center mark  (drilling out a smaller guide hole beforehand may be helpful)
Notice: 50cal can ammo hole dimension is 1/2", you need to enlarge it,otherwise the lock hardware kit cannot be passed through.
Form the outside of the can, insert the locking stud through the drill hole
On the inside of the can,put the neoprene washer over the threads of the locking stud, followed by the small washer, and then the nylon lock nut.Tighten the assembly with a wrench, being aware that the “round” side of the locking stud may have sharp edges/burs,so a tool should be utilized on”round”side, not bare hands
For ammo cans with large holes, put the large washer between the ammo can’s latch and the padlock in order to prevent the large latch hole from slipping over the padlock
ONE SIZE FITS ALL - Works on 50 Cal, Fat 50, 30 Cal, 20 mm, 40 mm Ammo cans.  Will work with medium size locks as large as 1/4" lock shackle

If you finshin the assembly and find the locking stud is not centered, simply file or drill the ammo can’s latch holes to be larger until the latches properly fit the locking stud
