Butane Handheld Micro Torch

There are many brands and qualities of these torches on the market. This is a brand  which I have carried exclusively for many years due to it's quality of construction, reliability and reasonable price. This size of torch is excellent for soldering small silver and gold items, as well as firing pmc pieces instead of turning on your kiln. It uses butane fuel, which is readily available in various sizes of refill cans at virtually every drug store, hardware store and even supermarkets. You simply turn the torch upside down to expose the fill valve, press the nozzle of the refill can firmly and perpendicular onto the valve, hold it there for about 5 seconds, and you are done!  Each fill will last 1 1/2 to 2 hours, even running at maximum level. This torch features a METAL main body, not plastic, giving it added safety and durability unlike many others on the market. Max. temp. is 2,450 F., and it features electronic ignition and stable flame at ANY angle. Flame size and temperature are adjustable. A child safety latch and permanent-on button are also included in this design.   Approx. 6" tall and 1 3/8" diameter. Shipped empty.
