This listing is for the torch HEAD only.  The butane canister must be purchased separately. The butane can be ordered or purchased from suppliers and many retail stores for as little as .50 to .00 per 7.8 ounce canister!  VERY ECONOMICAL!!!
This torch head is very well constructed of primarily metal, and is fully adjustable for flame size AND temperature. It also has a self-igniter built in. Maximum temp. will be about 2,400 degrees Farhenheit.  The flame and temperature are similar to the mini or micro torches on the market; one of the advantages of this one is that you don't have to refill ever, and it will run many, many times longer than the refillable type, at which point you simply discard the canister and install a new one.
Use only the type of canister as pictured, this is not designed for the threaded-top canisters.
It takes about 5 seconds to change canisters and be ready to work!
