My DPS-800GBA Interface board customers were looking for MORE POWER!! Okay, a Power Supply that could provide +12V at high a current than the DPS-800. A couple of them suggested the DPS-1200FBA, so I checked into it. Again, they didn't need anything fancy - just something simple... an on/off switch, some indicators, and something reliable.

About the Power Supply:
The HP "DPS-1200FB A" is a small foot print, high efficiency, 12 Volt Enterprise Server switching power supply (
1.5″ x 7.75″ x 3 1/2″ and weighing in at around two pounds each with a capability to supply 900W (75A at 12V) on 110V. Now THAT’S crazy!)
. It operates on 110 or 220 volts, to provide 900 watts or 1200 Watts respectively. This supply offers a high quality and inexpensive way to power devices requiring 12 volt power such as Bitcoin mining equipment and electronics projects.

Interface Board Specifications
:
The terminal blocks I used differ from the ones used on the DPS-800 boards. With more current capacity in the DPS-1200, I wanted a stouter and easier terminal block for the end user.
There are 12 screw terminal contacts, 6 for the +12 volts, and 6 for ground, that provide a way to attach the main load.  Each terminal has a captive metal plate that clamps down on the wire, and can accommodate multiple solid or stranded wires. Be sure to use the appropriate gauge wire for your application. The interface board was designed and assembled in the US; and parts were sourced from US suppliers when possible. Each board is tested on a real DPS-1200FB A under full load, for quality control before it is shipped to you. I would expect nothing less, so I give nothing less!
