Mexico one centavo, 1889, Mexico City mint, copper. On the obverse is the Mexican emblem of the eagle with a snake in its beak, on top of a cactus. The reverse shows a wreath with the denomination, "Un Centavo", and the date, 1889, and the Mexico City mint mark inside it . Both sides are toned a medium brown with luster showing through the surfaces on both sides, and showing a lot of flashy look to them through the toning.
