Old Hickok 539C Tube Tester for Amplifier Radio TV Vacuum Tube (NO RESERVE)

For auction this old time Hickok tube tester. Serial number 29200252. No reserve, and no buy it now price I prefer to keep the listing auction style, and give everyone get a chance to bid and win. This item is part of an estate resolution of an old radio hobbyist. I am not the original owner, nor am I a hobbyist, therefore I cannot give you a precise assessment of condition. I know better than to just plug these old electronic units into the ac, because they can explode. I'm leaving it up to the buyer to test out the unit, and just selling the unit as-is for parts, repair, and or restoration. From what I can see the outer case has been painted, and the screws that hold in the metal faceplate aren't original, back then they used the old slotted screws, these are phillips head. The large vacuum tube is probably not good, I can see some loose filament debris inside the glass.
