- Battery powered toilet seat riser, fully assembled. Raises toilet seat up to 13". Condition is "Used". In excellent shape.

The PTA was invaluable to Dad when he could no longer squat to sit on the toilet and did not have the strength in his legs to raise himself up to a standing position.  With the PTA, he could easily back his walker up to the toilet, press the lift switch on the left armrest, raise the seat to a comfortable "butt height", lean back to sit on the toilet seat, and then press the lift switch to lower himself (and the toilet seat) down to the base of the toilet.  When time was up, he would press the lift switch to raise himself up 13' so he could stand up to his walker.  At first Dad was a little leery, but he quickly and happily used the PTA  until he was no longer able to stand.
We give the PTA an A+ on safety, stability, quality materials, ease of use, ability to be folded up and transported to another location, and mostly for providing Dad some independence and privacy.
I included parts of the manual in the photo section for additional information.
Remember our PTA is fully assembled except for the addition of a toilet seat.  The buyer can attach his/her own existing toilet seat to the frame of the PTA.
The lift switch is located on the left side of the armrest.  Armrests move up and down.
This Standard PTA does not have wheels.
