  • Condition: The exterior paint is flaking off, case is dirty and needs cleaning. The inside of case is dusty and needs cleaning. Power cord has greatly deterioriated and needs replacing. Meter lens (glass) is loose and should be fixed to the inside of the meter bezel. This tester has the accessories to enable in radio circuit tube testing. ITEM NOT TESTED due to AC power cord condition. Item has been modified to include a 9 pin socket and a compactron socket and there are notations on the well worn tube settings booklet for the more modern tubes. Multi meter (VOM) leads not included. Leather carrying handle broken.

    Description

    Please examine pictures carefully. This is a "fixer upper" but could be a classic to be proud of for the right person having some basic refinishing skills. Tester is in need of exterior paint and interior cleaning. It should clean up well for display and when the power cord is replaced it should work since all switches, levers, and controls move freely. It obviously was used up to and including the time that Compactrons became common. There are faint notations in the tube setting booklet for the common later model 9 pin miniature and the compactron tubes.
